Shipping Policy

Reimer’s Candies and Gifts currently offers shipping via UPS Ground (3-5 days) and USPS to the contiguous United States during the cooler months of the year only (generally 72 degrees or cooler). Customers in Alaska, Hawaii and outside of the United States may obtain shipping quotes and place orders by calling Reimer’s at 1-559-561-4576.

In order to ensure that your product arrives in perfect condition, we suspend shipping availability once the weather warms up in the spring, and make it available again once the weather cools in the fall.

We work hard to ensure that our product is delivered to you in the same condition that it was in when it left our shop. Please see information below regarding temperature conditions.

Warm Weather Shipping Information

Due to heat constraints, from approximately mid-April through mid-October we are unable to offer shipping of our products.

Shipping Rates and Methods

Shipping rates are determined by UPS and USPS, based both on the total weight of the order and the distance the shipment will travel. We will ship using the most efficient method available at the time of your purchase in order to ensure delivery as quickly as possible while maintaining the quality of our product.

Our goal is to ship product the next business day. Orders will be shipped in the order received within a few business days at most. If you are placing your order after 12 noon PST, your order will not be shipped until the following business day. We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays to ensure minimal time in transit. You will receive email confirmation when your order is shipped.

Desired Delivery Date

If you have a specific Desired Delivery Date, please indicate this in the Notes section at checkout and we will ship your order accordingly whenever possible.

All orders are shipped No Signature Required which means the package will be left at the shipping address, which may mean simply left on a residential doorstep. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen after UPS or USPS has completed the delivery.

Temperature Conditions

Shipping chocolate is tricky and nobody likes melted chocolate! If the destination city’s temperature is 72 degrees or warmer please consider delaying your order until weather conditions improve.
